Nova Jabaeté is a region of Grande Vitória (Brazil) recently recognized as an area of social interest. Prior to recognition, the region was considered an invaded area, so it never achieved sanitation, lighting and quality education.
More than 1,200 people live in the region, including children living in vulnerable situations.
As a way of contributing to the resignification of the place and its inhabitants, increasing the circulation of books, promoting and democratizing or accessing reading, and especially promoting the educational formation of children.
Project Semear is giving a new story to abandoned books on shelves.
The Project is conducting a campaign to collect children's literature, illustration and comic books that will be taken to the children of Nova Jabaeté.
Our goal is to sow books and stories to reap the most curious, creative and literate children!
